Chicken Liver Paté
I enclose my favourite homemade chicken pate ( recipe which was inspired by combining two Terry Wahls’ wonderful recipes (Liver, Onions and Mushrooms, and Liver Paté) found in her book “The Wahls Protocol”. Eating this regularly for people with low iron levels, like me, can be a life changer! It is high in protein, iron and B12 (and B vitamins generally). I love it on GF seedy crackers, with avocado.
Pea and Ham soup.
This was my daughter’s favourite growing up. She loved the strong rich flavours. It is a great winter meal, a good in the slow cooker. This provides the opportunity to get some gelatin, fibre (collagen), and spare winter root vegetables into you and your families diet without them noticing.
Lemon Curd Tart
This is a family favourite for special dinners, birthdays etc. This was made using pastry Pete Evan’s book ‘Family Food’ Christmas mince tarts recipe, and an old family lemon curd tart recipe. To be prepared, you may need some coconut ice-cream and or strawberries to serve.
Anzac biscuits
I first made these delicious biscuits for Anzac Day recently, and have been making the ever since!. They are so easy and quick!
I modified the recipe from Veggiekinsblog.com/
